Wireless Communications for Co-operative Systems
Co-operative systems use vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure communications. Standardisation is vital in this emerging technology, where communicating entities from different manufacturers need to be able to ‘understand' each other. Key bodies for related standards include ISO TC 204 WG 16 (CALM), CEN TC 278 WG 16 and ETSI TC ITS.
