New INSPIRE website

The INSPIRE website, inspire.jrc.ec.europa.eu/, has been re-launched with simplified navigation and improved search functions. INSPIRE, which stands for INfrastructure for SPatial InfoRmation in the European community, is an EC Directive concerning the sharing and harmonisation of spatial datasets across Europe.

The website contains: background information; technical documents on the ‘Implementing Rules’; stakeholder information; news and events.
